Blended Malt — Scotland

Honeysuckle, swirled with smoke, this blended malt is a unique and captivating palate journey. It blows the socks off of many pricier single malts. And it's an absolute steal at anything south of $50 USD. Does it deserve a permanent place on my bar shelf? I don't think twice about lining it up next to the likes of HP, Clynelish, and Oban.
My Rating Glossary:
Two Stars: "I'd rather be drinking lite beer."
Two 1/2 Stars: "Posh rubbish."
Three Stars: "I love whisk(e)y. This is average love."
Three 1/2 Stars: "May buy again."
Four Stars: "I've got to get you into my life."
Four 1/2 Stars: "Better than drugs."
Five Stars: "Life is good. Whisky makes it better."

cheap blend and peated seem harder and harder to put together these days. my most recent bottle of dewars 12 and grand old parr both tasted conspicuously less smokey. @bigwhitemike
@DigitalCork I also have a CB Glasgow bottle waiting to be tasted, have been optimistic for a respectable smoky blend at the ~$30 price point. Looking forward to your thoughts on those.
I've bought and tasted all the single malts in this blend, except for Linkwood. I've enjoyed all of them, with two of them becoming permanent fixtures on my shelf (Talisker and Cragganmore). I've deduced Linkwood is primarily a source for blends, as my internet searches on Drizly and Google come up with hits - but they are all independent bottlings (and borderline expensive). (And I put 'borderline' in there, because I have no idea how well done independent bottlings are.) In any event, I am interested to see how the Compass Box blends - Great King Streets - fare against THIS awesome dram. Reviews to come......
@bigwhitemike Can't go wrong with the JW Green. @Ctrexman Even if this was priced at $60, I'd still pick it up - no questions asked.
@Ctrexman real talk. action plan = established. Side note - SB10 is QUITE tasty
I paid $60 and its well worth. Pretty delish bit I opened Springbank 10 at same time been comparing. SB10 is a tough act to follow but the Green holds it own. Open that sucker up bigmike
Yum. I had nabbed a bottle when I saw at <$50 a while back but still haven't cracked it. I'm thinking I need to.
Yessir I am digging this for sure
