Dark yellow on the pour. Nose is light with floral notes. Some sherry sweetness along with an almost jasmin like flavor on the palate. Slight heat going down. Medium mouthfeel and a short-medium finish. Overall the flavor is stronger than two other Japanese whiskies I've tried (Nikka Malt and Toki) but still more mellow than most Scotch.
