An overall enjoyable and approachable tequila for the those just begining to explore Añejo tequilas. For the more experienced tequila lovers out there, it's a step away from what you may be expecting. The complexity arrives more in the nose than on the pallette, with the earthy cooked agave tones and sweet coatings of caramel and a hint of cinnamon/mixed spice. The pallette was unchallenging, and personally sets itself as a classic middle-of-the-road Añejo - umami, roasted agave, some butterscotch and smooth albeit not as smooth as other Añejos in its competitive category.
