Aroma: Buttery, sherry, sweet. Fruitier than Glenrothes Sherry Cask Reserve. Fuji apples, barley malt, creme brûlée; toasted marshmallows. Elegant & round.
Taste: thick body. Sweet, barley sugar arrival with toffee, fruit, dried fruit, golden raisins, ginger, and sherry on the palate.
Finish: medium length, toffee, barley sugar, sherry, oak.
Overall: great whisky for when you’re in the mood for an easy, sweet, opulent speysider.
