A slightly better, more refined expression of the same tasting and nosing notes found in the Glengoyne 15yo Distillers Gold, this 18yo one is a fine dram without changing anyone's life.
Bottled at 40%abv, burnished gold color.
On the nose it is simple but good. Cinnamon and red apples.
On the palate more of the same: honey, a very fancy refined honey and pepper. The aftertaste is cinnamon and ashy. An enjoyable dram but not one to remember. 77 over 100.
