#1 in the vodka lineup.
Practically no nose, neither flavor nor alcohol. I can almost fully inhale deep in the glass with no effect. This makes the flavor nothing short of a magic trick: sweet vanilla custard, almost ice cream hits you immediately. Even a creamy vapor is present in the mouth as you taste it, but then disappears without leaving a trace of hardly anything. Complete stillness throughout. Quite remarkable the way so much flavor is delivered so stealthily.
Conclusion: All vodka is fine for whatever purpose; just find a cheap one that doesn't smell like gasoline. This one happens to provide an actual good drinking experience neat though. It is also smooth enough to drink like water, can still mix with anything, and ~$5 cheaper than Jack Daniel's (just think about that for a second). As an added bonus, the distillery is also one the most eco-friendly. This is the only vodka I will ever need (perfect for White Russians!), and certainly the last one I care to go out of my way to try.

Excellent review!! I picked up on the same notes you did. I'm shocked at the other reviews claiming this is strong or has a strong bite.
@cascode Great idea! I don't think I have much expertise in liqueurs yet and I'm currently spending a lot of my time on bourbon blending, but maybe I just need to hold onto my vodka and make some liqueur in a bit. I had been contemplating making some botanical spirit and I just got some vanilla beans to make vanilla extract :)
@ContemplativeFox Make home-made liqueurs 🙂 that's the only reason I ever buy vodka. Limoncello, arancello, coffee liqueur, sloe gin - try making your own amari. It's dead easy.
@WhiskyWitch I appreciate that tip because I've bought a few bottles of vodka and I still can't figure out what to do with them lol.
@ContemplativeFox Well, it's still just vodka, so don't set your expectations too high. 2oz. vodka, 1oz. Kahlua, and 1oz. (almond) milk is what I eventually do with *all* vodka...
Your description makes it sound fantastic :) I haven't gotten it yet because I've heard mixed things, but I think I'll finally at least have to get a mini soon. If only I could figure out what to do with these bottles of vodka I pick up...
Thanks! I think I can manage buying bottles of this though :)
What a review! Wish I could buy you a bottle.
