Very nice drop. Number 2 on the night after the Bowmore Double the Devil (a clear winner).
Very strong honey note, berry creme brulee. Port takes the back seat here. I have a feeling like most Benriachs it would deteriorate pretty quickly once the bottle is open as it doesn't have a lot of oily body to hold back oxegenation of the flavor

@PBMichiganWolverine No other than being CS and no age statement it appears to quote "and for the final release there’s two unique things of note: it is the first time Ximénez sherry casks have been used by the distiller, and also the first time this spirit has been double matured." Hence double the devil i guess?
Was Double Devil from Bowmore the same as their devil’s casks?
