Bourbon — Kentucky, USA

Nose: menthol, red licorice, oak, milk chocolate, light candy
Palate: oily, brown sugar, oak, a little peanutty
Finish: old leather, musty oak, light cola, short-medium length
Felt like I had to hunt to get these notes. I'd prefer them to present themselves to me. Disappointing finish. Solid bourbon; kinda sweet, but not overly so. Light mouth burn towards the front of my mouth. Probably wouldn't spend more than $40 for it.
