Neat. NOM 1173, Lot A-1
Nose is sweet with caramel, vanilla, and a touch of oak, carob, leather, and alcohol. Taste starts out true to nose. Oaky caramel vanilla, syrupy sweet, then a hit of spicy cinnamon and cocoa toward the end. Finishes with that cinnamon spice, tannins and saccharine sweetness.
Overall it tastes good, but not a fine artisinal tequila. The agave is lacking. Feels additive heavy to me. It has its charm. Value is good. It compares to other anejos that cost more for smaller bottles.
