A notch better than the unpeated Whisky in Bloom thanks to a delicate smoke on the nose and a creamy finish. I'd happily keep a bottle of this at home.

And indeed, I did buy a bottle, for a mere $35. Further tastings confirm that this is an outstanding example of imparting peat-flavors into an unpeated whisky by aging it in an Islay cask. The peat feels fully integrated. Excellent value and deserving of its 90 score in Whisky Advocate.
