N: Initially, Ponk and Vegetal Peat with Floral notes in the background. Pine Cones and Wet Earth. After a while, Lemon Zest emerges. Medicinal (Bandage) note becomes more apparent with time in the glass. Not a usual whisky aroma by any means. (10)
P: It is very light on the palate, almost Watery. Sweet, Peat, Ponk, Lemon, and Vanilla. Simple but yummy. (9/10)
F: Smooth, Medium finish with the balance of Oak, Peat and Sweetness. Dry at the end. (9/10)
Even though it is not very complex, it is an amazing Whisky (probably because it has this unique Ponk taste to it)!
[Green immature sorghum grains (called Ponk) that are either parched or roasted.]
