Straw color on the pour. Alcohol is prominent on the nose with faint agave and the slightest hint of vanilla. Cooked agave, slight smoke, vanilla and black pepper going down. That alcohol scent is minor while tasting. Medium mouthfeel and medium finish. This is a good, affordable reposado. I really liked the Herradura Silver and in comparison, the reposado has a bit more vanilla and smoke going on. The silver was a bit more "earthy", but not in a bad way. I would recommend both.
