This bourbon should not be as sought after as it is. It is a great upper-entry level bourbon. It is very enjoyable, but I feel that there are much better bourbons that should be hyped up a bit more than this. Nose: Cherry, vanilla, cinnamon, and orange zest. Palate: I get a lot of orange and cherry blend. It has a lot of citrus and is not overly sweet. Finish: It is a mellow finish that is slightly astringent once the bottle opens up. Initially it comes off quite hot. Mouthfeel: It has an average mouthfeel and it does not detract form the whiskey.
