Quintessential whisky in my opinion. Not as sweet as a speyside, but it starts to work in smoky flavors. Nose: Butterscotch,honey, and smoke, light vanilla, citrus, fruits Palate: Butterscotch, smoke, slight oak, light peat, fruit cake. Finish: Smoke fades into a light ash with a hint of sweetness. Mouthfeel: Not creamy but not thin
