Copper color. Fruit-forward nose with red grapes and stewed plums, hints of burnt sugar, vanilla bean and cocoa powder. Light bodied mouthfeel. Flavors are subtle and hard to pick out but I'm getting more stewed fruits, candied apples and chocolate covered pretzels. Finish is pretty short and unimpressive, maybe some grapes and sweet red cherries, and a little peppercorn spice.
