Smells like gym socks and tastes a bit like them too. Rich, bitter, and rancid. Perhaps a bit meaty, but not in a good way. It's spicy and a bit too sweet for a meaty whiskey. The spice is way too present. A bit nutty, but definitely boozy. Ginger is there and either it or some cinnamon burns. It's kind of bland with an icky finish. I wish this were less bitter and rich.

@CKarmios You have every right to be disappointed. I have to admit that I have a similar response when I see Solera, despite enjoying blending (cheap stuff) at home. It seems like it should just end up muddled in a Solera.
@ContemplativeFox ha ha, I did take the GF 15 experience a bit personally, didn’t I?
@CKarmios Yeah, I was very disappointed in this even though I liked the 15 substantially more than you did. Could always have been an old bottle sitting on a bar's shelf half empty to blame though.
Oh my, and I thought I found Glenfiddich 15 disappointing
