The nose of the whiskey features fruity notes of apricot and pear with just a hint of baking spice.
On the tongue the whiskey has a mellow sweetness that slowly grows into a mild spice. It has a fruity sweetness with notes of pear and the faintest hint of vanilla that develops into the spice and a bit oak. It has very little bite and goes down quite smoothly, with little to no glow in the chest. Late into the finish these flavors become somewhat medicinal. It is a little thin for a sipping whiskey, however, it could make an excellent cocktail if provided adequate support from the other components.
