Nose: strong notes of sherry and oak. Some baking spice with a candied fruit sweetness.
Palate: Strong sherry and toffee dominate the initial tasting. That sweet candied fruit continues but with a crispness of ripe apples.
Finish: More toffee and that apple character expands with some orange peel as well!
Wonderful expression from Glengoyne!
