It's a very sweet and smooth almond liqueur. I like to use it in a Kentucky Godfather; 3 parts good (but not too good) straight bourbon whiskey and 1 part Disaronno. A lovely evening cocktail.

I've been playing on with a riff I made between and penicillin and godfather where you basically make a disa sour (3 pt disaro to 2 pt FRESH lemon juice, vigorous shake) and then incorporate DROPS of an islay floater (lap 10). You can really add any thing at all with citrus/sweetness between the sour base and floater finish. it's fun to play with. I'll try yours next.
