I cannot imagine why this gets an overall score of 80 while the Evan Williams Black gets an 85. This stuff is head and shoulders above the Black Label. This is a great bourbon for mixing in a summer cooler such as fresh squeezed lemonade.

I've always said 1783 > BIB > regular black label. I've tried two diff bottles of the single barrel and disliked both.
Agreed. Was wondering the same thing, I came to the comments to see if anyone Else agreed. This is better than most <$40 bourbons one the shelf
