Outside of Makers, this is my first wheated bourbon, and I like it! I would definitely prefer this to Makers Mark. The nose is pleasant, caramel-y, and not too strong. The taste is a little more mellow than standard rye bourbons, which I like. Tastes of caramel and slight vanilla. I don't know how to pinpoint the wheat taste, but I like it. The follow through is where all of the burn is, which isn't too bad, but it's definitely interesting. The way it stays around in the mouth feel is really interesting and I really like that about it. I was lucky to find a 375ml that was cheap, but I don't know if I would pay a ton for a 750ml bottle of this, given that it's so rare and expensive when you actually see it.
