I like this more than I have liked it in the past. It's more subtle than I remember. I don't absolutely love it. The nose is too strong for me, which has made me not want to buy or drink it. It just smells like ethanol and a little bit of vanilla. The taste is a pretty mellow vanilla with some spice. Definitely a little thin, and doesn't linger at all. The finish is mostly just a light alcohol burn. It doesn't linger around a whole lot. I probably wouldn't buy a full bottle of this again, there's too much other whiskey out there to try. But it definitely is a standard for a reason. It's probably pretty great on the rocks and mixed with coke etc.
