Popped my peat cherry with this little guy right here. First sniff is the smell of a burning bog. Fire, smoke, swamp (peat), and the sea sprinkled in. On first sip: poison. Tastes like there should be a Mr. Yuck sticker on it and placed in your cleaning supplies storing area. But after a few sips to coat your tongue. The initial shock of drinking medicine reveals Smokey, peaty goodness, with a bitter seaweed twinge. Can’t wait to keep drinking this and see how it evolves. Quite the dram

Really like the honest initial take. Islay scotch is so wonderfully unique
