2nd time reviewing the same bottle neat.
nose - A lot of things typical of bourbon here. There is oak, cinnamon, sugar, cherries, and vanilla. Smells very sweet.
taste - Oak and vanilla as soon as it hits my tongue, full and rich, then comes some oak, tobacco, and a heavy score of cinnamon. This rounds out to a medium long finish with a ton of cinnamon, spices, and lightly sweet (think the candy red hots sums this up).
Overall and value - I hate to say it but for so many people to absolutely love this one, it is a bit on the spicy side to me and an overwhelming taste of cinnamon red hots. It is nice a complex but just is a decent pour to me. Going to try my next review on this one with an ice cube to see if it changes my mind any. When you can actually find this bottle it ranges from 40 - 60$ and is allocated. Comes with a nice looking bottle, fancy label with a nice large signature of EH taylor. Style points are there but the taste lacks to my palate.
