Thanks to @PBMichiganWolverine for the small pour. Lots of orchard fruit on the nose, bits of alcohol seep through if you inhale too deeply. The palate is strong and filled with youthful peppy spirit. There’s some pale fruitiness, but it’s overly harsh and dry. The finish isn’t deep, but it is lingering and dry.
No wood notes force this one to be simple and mostly one-dimensional. Perhaps if there was some well-aged spirit blended in there could be some things to talk about, but as this is, it’s purely designed to mix with something else or to “shoot” if you’re looking for a quick buzz. Thanks, PB.

@ContemplativeFox the Swedes have done wonders with Smogen. It really blew me away. @Richard-ModernDrinking and @Scott_E seemed to have liked it as well
Glad to see some of these swedish whiskies getting reviewed. I'm intrigued, but mostly skeptical.
@LeeEvolved Good to see you posting reviews on a regular basis again. Hope you have fully recovered from your COVID-19 adventure!
I’ve not had this one yet—-was curious to try it. Out of the Swedish ones, I love Smogen—-much harder to get here though
