Rich amber color. Nose is a bit faint and hard to decipher individual components. I get some coffee and vanilla but not much else. Oily mouthfeel, no alcohol burn. Palate has a coffee + chocolate /mocha component that is nice, with hints of vanilla and rye spices. Finish is short to medium in length and peppery with some freshly ground coffee bean and lingering rye spice. Perfectly reasonable as a nightly sipper or as a high-proof, full-bodied bourbon for a cocktail.
