Nose: medicinal peat that fades to campfire after a few min. Honey vanilla and fruits underneath.
Palate: thick and rich like eating a fruit tart in an orchard by a fire. Nice long finish.
Not usually a fan of peated whiskies. But my God is this good. A better Johnnie Green. Most peaty whiskies imo end up being all peat and very little else. This is a nice balance imo. Water just mutes everything. Not sure if my wandering eye will return here but this is definitely a strong recommend.
