This is a bold and flavorful rye. I was quite pleased with this whiskey. Spicy and sweet, I noticed notes of licorice, allspice, oak, and a hint of granny smith apple. I know that Templeton has a black mark on its record due to dishonesty, but this was a very enjoyable whiskey and I would recommend it.
