I do get a sweet wripped cream scent from it, though it isn't overpowering. The palate tastes immediately like cotton candy. Then some bitterness comes in, suggesting artificial sweetener and alcohol. It tastes bad, sort of like sugar free bubble gum. It has a modest mouthfeel with some viscosity that tells like it was achieved by mixing some sugar water in. It tastes totally artificial and it's hard to figure out what to mix with it. There's the origins of vanilla in here sometimes, but overall it's its own gross, bad thing. This is pretty equivalent to pear.
The nose is vanilla, but a bit on the cream soda side. It smells really sweet. It tastes kind of like cream soda jelly bellies. It's super sweet with just enough cream soda richness. It does a good job of executing cream soda with alcohol. There's a bit of metal and rubber from the alcohol, but it's nothing too bad. Overall, this is one of the better Veil flavored vodkas. It definitely is better than a 5. The alcohol definitely does start showing through and it brings in a tad of s soapy taste, but it's nothing too bad. This is better than the citron one, but maybe not as good as peach. There's ultimately just enough off to keep it below tbe quality of the peach, but it's pretty close. The soap is the deciding factor. 8 seems reasonable. I might drop it to a 7 based on the soap. 7 to 8. Sadly, I think I'm going to drop the score to a 7. It's hard to figure out what to do with this, but it is one of the better Veil offerings.
