Nose: It comes out with strong vanilla notes and oaky spiciness that tinge the nose a bit. Some salted caramel and cooked mash is noticeable as well. Also a chocolate fudge smell occasionally. Palate: More of the vanilla from the nose at first sip. The oaky spice turns more into cinnamon and black pepper. A sweet caramel mixes with some tartness from a ripe apple. Finish: Caramel syrup sweetness and a bit of burnt sugar. A beautiful long finish, with more ripe fruity notes.
