Nose: Decently strong alcohol smell but once past that strong honey scents. Coupled with vanilla, raisins, and fresh sticks Palate: Very sweet with honey and subtle wooden notes. Rich caramel flavor but well spiced as well. Finish: Mildly thick with still a lingering honey. Now a more textured undertone with wood and a faint bitterness arises Great dram and well worth the price for a wheated bourbon. Slightly strong at first but certainly mellows out with some water.
