For the price of this, it's really great. It still tastes like a classic bourbon, bu doesn't have any unsettling notes. On the nose I get caramel and vanilla. Not much alcohol burn. The taste is interesting and unique for it being a cheaper bourbon. I get vanilla, caramel, and fruitiness. The fruitiness comes across as a little more of an apple type of note. Kind of tastes like a caramel apple! The proof is low, but still there, which is nice because there's no burn in it. I usually don't like bourbon with overly fruity notes, but the notes in this make aren't too much. It feels like a complete bourbon with the followthrough. It's a light and smooth bourbon and an easy drinker. I mixed this with sweet tea and lemon and it was fantastic. This definitely makes me want to try out their other bourbons I bet I would love those. Overall, really surprised at this, love it.
