Tequila Blanco — Tequila Valley, Jalisco, Mexico

Nose - mild cooked agave, mushroom like earthiness, oily cooked bell pepper, green onion, mild ethanol burn.
Taste - sweet cooked agave, black pepper, nutmeg, earthy mushroom, stewed vegetables, mild alcohol bite, finishing quickly with fading sweet and stewed vegetal and fungal notes.
Not a good sipper. Mixes fairly well, but not a well as some cheaper options like Olmeca Altos. The flavors are subtle and not well integrated. It’s definitely not terrible, but I won’t purchase again.
