Rating is subjective without a comparison, but this is the "name brand" and even just 1/4 oz of this is a flat knockout in a tiki cocktail. So much delicious flavor. Neat, a tiny nip fills the mouth and quickly dwarfs the sweet introduction, drying the tongue and cheeks with astringency and baking spice, even adventuring timidly into the nasal reaches. Allspice (duh) that invites thoughts of clove and molasses - approaching, but not quite, black strap.
Perhaps this won't be for some folks, but, um, sign me up. Not terribly pricey and a 750ml will last forever. Equally at home most everywhere its buddy Angostura might show up.

@bigwhitemike That's quite a few options! Thanks, it's great to know what to mix with a liqueur.
@ContemplativeFox easily an aged rum or bourbon old fashioned for a partial sugar replacement, lion's tail, and any number of tiki style cocktails (I have been referencing Smuggler's Cover a lot), favorites include planter's punch, three dots and a dash, pampanito, pupule/nui nui, pinata and a few others. So hopefully some options!
@bigwhitemike Any recommendations for cocktails to make with it?
@ContemplativeFox definitely just a cocktail component, but a powerful one indeed.
I hadn't heard of this before, but it's made with pot still Jamaican rum, so sign me up too.
