Not a very Talisker-like whisky. It is the Talisker 10 matured in Sherry cask for extra 1 year. The smokiness is not so strong. A bit similar to Lagavulin 16 due to the sherry influence. However, there are more seashell, sea breeze comes out like you are at a beach.
Nosing: Caramel pudding, bonfire and sherry wine of course. Bacon, macadamia. After I take 1 sip, the smokiness comes out stronger.
Tasting: sweet and salty. Pepper kick and the strong smokeiness come out immediately like the great Talisker 10. A hint of sea water.
Finishing: sea breeze/ sea water, shellfish.
