Appearance: Dark amber, a little reddish. Nose: Rye spice, cinnamon, cloves, corn, bourbon sweetness. Palate: Much like the nose, but stronger all around. Some wood. Truly savory. Slight burn. Excellent mouth feel. Finish: Medium, spicy, faint char, woody sweetness. Overall: This is the good stuff. Rich in flavor, remarkably smooth despite it's proof. A fair price. If it was a touch sweeter it would be perfect, but it's already fantastic anyway.
