Uncorking- Vanilla, oak and mint on the nose. taste - Very low burn for the proof. I usually only get mint like this on rye. Spicier mint like Speamint. Sweet, high vanilla, pops in the mouth. Then fresh cut oak and a hint of light char. Fun mouthfeel almost numbs my mouth but it's pleasant. The spikes you get are weirdly pleasant like wasabi or hotwings.
This is a big jump up from the 101 for me which I also like. Finishes great with sweetness, more wood and vanilla undertones hanging out. I got the faintest bits of orange peel but not consistently. Water brought out the wood but maybe made it a touch bitter. I wouldn't want to diminish the proof spikes anyway.
