Sazerac Rye is such a completely balanced and satisfying Rye whiskey. The Rye factor is not elevated. It is certainly present but not predominant allowing notes of pepper, spice, honey and a slight flintiness to predominate a smooth long finish. This is a staple and a competent one. Especially at its approachable price point.
