3rd tasting. Now it's ripe fruit dark berry and sweet on the front of nose that I didn't get much before but heavy ash and peat and salt still there. Cigar ashtray initially. Oily feel and some orange peel on the sides of my mouth. Hints of dark fruit and chocolate.
Smoke tastes is very ashy and a little like how smoked salmon smell would taste. Not fishy but oily meat and ash. Under it all is a lot of sweetness. Finish is definitely a salty peat bog but bits of dark chocolate and coffee bean bitters that actually balances out the finish. You need to work for it to get the flavors but that is what I think I like. Salty Smoked chocolate, dark roasted coffee bean that was over heated w charred dark berry in a glass.

I’ve only had the single 4 cl glass and have held out on a review, as it kept changing on me throughout the duration of the tasting. Suffice to say, a remarkable dram from a NAS bottling.
