Pike Creek 21 Year Oloroso Cask Finish
Canadian — Ontario, Canada
Reviewed

Nose
McIntosh Toffee, sweet Honey and caramel, vanilla, nutmeg and clove. Cinnamon raisin oatmeal comes to mind after exploring further.
Palate
A hesitant beginning inches its way around the mouth gradually spreading the flavor sensation like a match being lit. Full flavor, rich and sweet, balanced, however, by a subtle pepper spiciness
Finish
Medium to long and sweet, but black pepper notes continue through to the end, balancing out the inherent sweetness. No need for dessert if you're having this after dinner, and you will leave very satisfied!

That's true that Canadian whiskey tends not to be that expensive, but I've seen several unexciting ones being sold for over $100 and if I compare this with American whiskey, the price here is pretty standard :)
@ContemplativeFox although $90 is an expensive Canadian whisky relatively speaking, I agree this is well worth it. It won Canadian whisky of the year at the 2020 Canadian whisky awards, deservedly so I think.
Wow, sounds like a steal at only CAD90!
