Nose comes forward salty and butter. Almost like an Irish but it has more alcohol heat. Later I got fresh green pears that were slightly unripe. Palate is the salty savory of buttered popcorn. Some of the buttered bread of Irish without the sweetness; still lots of heat. Finish zooms by as a spicy buttered bread and alcohol. Overall it's ok, but nothing that gets my attention. My first Japanese and I do plan to get into others eventually.
