Nose: *makes whistling sound that says damn! That's a hot nose.* With my nose at a greater distance this time, I'm finding strong vanilla and caramel, cherry, and stewed fruits like caramelized apples from a pie. Oak is present but not profound or overpowering. I also get like a creamy vanilla frosting. Sip # 1: warm rye spice and heat, definitely get some nuttiness to it, like salted peanuts, finish lingers around and keeps.that salty peanut going . Subtle warmth in chest. Nose # 2: cherry is coming through stronger now. Starting to get that salty nut in the nose as well. Sip #2: this is super tasty and complex. So many good things going on. Mouth feel is very rich and coats the palate, flavors burst from all directions, and the nose continues to develop into a wonderful bouquet of warm scents. This is phenomenal for 45 bucks.i would buy this bottle again in a heartbeat!
