This stuff is my jam. I think some people hear “Irish Whiskey” and the think Jameson. Maybe that’s a good thing, because I like being able to find this and some peckerhead store owner hasn’t marked it up like a $500 bourbon.
This smells like grandma’s Christmas cake. Sweet citrus, nuts, fruitcake, spice. The palate is a calm warm nap with some puppies and Reba McEntire. Sweet fruit, honey, vanilla. The finish is just as good, but more like a Tanya Tucker and puppies. Sweet like ya need it, but just a hint of spice to let you know that the evening could go straight white trash in a hurry.
