NOSE: Old oak, white pepper and vanilla. With a touch of caramel sweetness as well. Palate: lots more vanilla competing with oak and rye spices initially. With some dried fruits and raisins more in the background of things. As the spice fades the caramel sweetness enhances into the finish. Finish: Finish is a bit dry as the oak fades a bit leaving more of an aftertaste of dried fruits, burnt sugar and a salted nuttiness.
