Deep amber on the pour. Sherry sweetness with a honey like influence on the nose. Taste is dominated by a nutty flavor with that sherry note in the background. Thick mouthfeel with a medium finish. Overall, this is a robust whisky with a bit of heat. It reminds me of the Balvenie 12 Double Wood with a little more kick.
