Nose: apply skins, vanilla, honey, smoke
Palate: herbal, spices
Finish: long smokey malty finish
Healeys are tradionally a cider farm, but they've recently branched out to whisky and gin as well as brandy. Tried this single malt (only 1200l produced so far) and a blended malt where they've teamed up with st Austell.
Quite expensive at £200 a bottle, so stuck with the sample, but really nice balanced flavour.
