Nose: fruits, pear, sweet rich malt, sherry, hint of citrus like orange or tangerine, lightest hint of a chocolate note, hint of vanilla, subtle light peat smoke, mild spice pepper notes. A couple drops of water push the peat aside, malt becomes almost candy like with the fruit and chocolate note, ginger spice barely comes through. Taste: nearly identical to the nose, chocolate note comes out more, perhaps a coffee touch (you may or may not get it yourself), peat is mild, peppery spice lingers well. Solid for a 10 year old.
