Uncorking- taste test against Michter's, Russell's 6yr, and Pikesville. Nose - Rye, grass, spice. Hint of toast. Taste - Sweet before the spice of rye kicks in. Vanilla and caramel first. Then rye and spice. Mint and grass but subdued from others. Wouldn't have thought this was straight rye. Finish- is long but a bit astringent. Woody with some spice.
