Representing speyside the fiddich and dullan rivers aka dufftown
Nose:
Neat: sherry, caramel, port wine, bag of mixed nuts
Water: brought out mint, that was cool. But more sweet raisiny nuts.
Body:
Neat: medium to full and coating the whole mouth
Water: MJ says rich I would agree, envelopes the mouth.
Palate
Neat: Carmel, molasses, melted smoked raisin
Water: the wine comes waaay up from with lingering smokey raisin caramel. Very good.
Finish:
Neat: long and lingering, syrupy raisin and sherry, delicious.
Water: love how this linger and lingers. Really delicious.
Note: another 1.5-2 ounce sample from Jared. Initial impression is this is very good and different. More raisiny. Extremely easy to drink but complex enough to make you linger on each sip. A very well designed and put together dram just delicious.
