Larceny Barrel Proof Bourbon Batch C920
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA

Honestly this is becoming one of my favorites. It tastes much more expensive than it is. I’m a fan of wheated bourbons. This just doesn’t disappoint. I hate to use “smooth” but it is. Notes of banana bread, carmel, and cherry. If you like your bourbon with a bit less burn and and on the sweeter side don’t pass this one buy. For less than $30 it’s a bargain

As a fellow non-whater-fan, I'm looking forward to your full review @ctbeck11 :)
@ContemplativeFox Just cracked mine tonight. Gonna wait a while before doing an official review. It’s not bad, but I’m not much of a wheater fan. I get some of the banana bread @geoffg mentioned, loads of peanut butter, and baking spices. Palate follows suit, but is also overly hot (could just be the neck pour). Something about wheaters just leaves me wanting more. Like they’re all treble with no bass. Given the batch naming convention, this begs to be compared to ECPB. It can’t hold a candle to ECBP, but I’m a sucker for barrel proof offerings, so it was worth the pickup.
Can't say I'm a Larceny fan, but I'd definitely try this if I could find it for less than $30.
Wow, where did you find this for less than $30? I just grabbed one for $50 and thought that was a good deal.
